Hi, Let me start by saying I love this truck and don't want to sell it. But the wife wants a big travel trailer so I need to get a diesel. This truck has never let me down, and is dead reliable, I've put a lot of love, care, and of course money into it. We just went on an 8k mile road trip in it, down to Baja from Washington state then around the west, with no issues. I would do it again tomorrow if I had the time and funds, the truck is ready for it. The rear seats were removed for cargo space, but I have them under cover in my shop.
The truck is a limited, with leather heated seats, sun roof, full roll down rear window. It has the 4.7 2UZFE, and the OTT Mild throttle tune. (I'm a tuner for OTT, so I can adjust the throttle to whatever you want). It has 191k miles and will continue to go up. If miles scare you, please do your research on this platform and consider reading this, https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-...ught-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/#post-2980386
The truck leaks nothing, is rust free, and is ready for your next adventure. I'll list everything I can think of below.
Engine:
stuff:
The Cons:
Almost the entire front end is rebuilt, but on our road trip the front right lower control arm bushings started showing signs of wear. This doesn't effect the truck, but you occasionally hear it offroad. I planned to replace with Solo Motorsports Lower Control arms that move the LBJ forward 1" allowing you to fit 35" tires. That was my plan from the beginning, just ran out of time before the trip and didn't have the funds to get another brand new set of tires.
Some scratches in the paint, rock chips on the front of the truck from other vehicles on roadways.
Two rock chips on the glass, I tried to seal them on the trip but the kits available on the road weren't big enough.
Some signs of clear coat degradation on the paint.
small spot of rust on the rear driver side bumper end cap.
Drivers seat has small tear in the leather on the lower left side, and has a small pinhole sized hole on the lower left portion of the back rest.
Extras: I have 4runner calipers that can go with it to start the "Big brake upgrade".
I also have fr33lance fabs LSPV conversion to manual Wilwood valve kit.
Will include more pictures as soon as I can. Feel free to reach out with any questions or inquiries.
