Yes, my dreambike is on the market for a fair $3000. It is time to allow the next owner the pleasure that has been mine.

Here is what you get:

2005 KLR650, 12,300 miles, sold as pictured.

Wolfman tank-bag
Aftermarket tail-box. (Kinda clunky, but it works.)
Mirror/Choke relocation bracket
Replacement fork springs and oil
SE ATV Hi Taper Bars
foldaway shifter lever, brake lever and footpegs
recent MEFO tires
aluminum rock guard
soft-side pannier racks
new keys, ignition switch, gas cap lock, helmet lock. (Yep, I lost my key!)
Corbin low seat
Doo done
And, if you need a stock seat, I'll throw that in.

Now, this KLR is no beauty queen. It has been ridden, dropped, (gently, I hope), and put back together with the requisite cable ties and normal KLR fixes that are due its class and station in life. This time, the ties are not even color matched. Sorry.

There is much good to be said of this KLR, but let me mention a few "not so good."

There is a repair on the kill switch that is rough, it works, but should be changed.

It is probably time to check/adjust the valves.

The bike sat for a time before the new ignition was installed, and the carburetion needs dialed in. Rough idle.

It has all the "dirt cred" any rider would be proud of. (On second thought, that is a GOOD thing.)

I think that it is using the original chain. It is fine, but worth noting.

And, I am the 3rd owner. California bike, Oregon life, and back to California where I have had it for a little over 2 years.

This will be a cash sale, easy pick-up close to Dodger Stadium, freeway close.

PM me for questions, phone numbers.

Thanks,
Dale
