2005 Ram 3500 ($47,000)
Mileage: 150k
The heart of this build is the legendary 5.7L Cummins diesel - famous for its low-end torque and million-mile potential. This Dodge is the last of its kind before “the DEF of the American diesel truck.” This truck has been thoughtfully upgraded with reliability and capability in mind:
Major Mechanical Upgrades:
Comfort & Utility:
1995 Bigfoot 2500 Series Camper ($13,000)
Built in Vernon, B.C., Bigfoot campers are legendary for their boat-hull construction, leakproof design, and true four-season capability:
Key Features:
The Project List:
This combination has been carefully integrated with a DC-DC charging system with honking Anderson plug disconnects. This power system was used with a yeti goal zero 1500x to power a Dometic fridge, but we already sold the fridge and battery. Still have the charging system. The camper comes with a lead acid battery used for house lights and the water pump. The combination of the propane system and electrical setup make the rig perfect for extended off-grid travel, speaking from experience. The Milwaukee Packout system provides incredible organization and utility across both truck and camper.
While we've loved this setup, our growing family and changing work commitments mean it's time for someone else to enjoy this exceptional rig. It's ready for immediate adventure - just add fuel and hit the road.
