2006 4runner 4x4 V8 with intermittent shudder

2006, 4x4, v8 with 140k.
I have owned the 4runner for about 2 months. Love it. I notice while sitting in park and idling it'll have a shutter on occasion, an engine vibration.
Same when sitting at a stop light, in drive with brake pressed.
The vibration was there since I bought the truck.
To get the rig caught up on maintenance I have done timing belt and water pump, new iridium plugs, new air filter, cleaned MAF, oil and filter, new PCV valve, sea foamed through pcv valve and put some Lucas fuel cleaner in the the last tank.
What else do you all suggest looking at?

This may be related to the Transmission fluid. Has it been serviced, fluid changed out? Shudder is common when the Trans fluid goes bad. Worth a shot, and certainly time to do it if never been done or uncertain if it has.

Yes I had this shudder with my tundra and was corrected once changed, now I have a 2006 sequoia with a shudder and I'm gonna change the tranny fluid and we shall see

If it didn't come with Iridium Plugs pull them out and put the correct plugs in. It's a long shot but a common problem with the first gen 4.0 in the Tacos and Fj's might be a prob with the V-8s as well.

Thanks for that tip guys. This was the next big service I was planning on doing.

I did pull Iridium plugs when I put the new ones in.

Are you sure sure about that? When I priced out plugs for my 06 Tundra I'm pretty sure they were only a couple bucks a piece meaning they are not Iridium. Unless your adding cylinder pressure to an engine I've always believed on sticking with the stock plug type/gaps.

The transmission fluid issue is an interesting one though. It looks like a PITA to change on the 5spd autos so unless they charge something insane I'm going to have the dealer do it when they do the airbag recall that I need to get done. I haven't noticed any major shuttering but I've only driven mine ~600miles.

A good amount of V8 owners have reported that one bank will be Iridium and the other Denso, from the factory. Just an interesting tidbit.

I've had 3 V8 4Runner's in my family. They all do this to some extent. The V8 is very smooth but at idle a slight vibration comes and goes (more so when cold). I've been told this is somewhat common for the V8 and how the balance has been designed. Odd but I've never had any issues due to this.
