Hello guys,
I am selling my 2006 Ford Ranger... Maybe not the type of truck that would typically be on here, but it is a very capable, well rounded, fun truck (geared toward getting out to remote places in a hurry :smiley_drive. I feel like someone on here may appreciate or be interested in it. I am not selling this truck because I have to (no divorce/bankruptcy/etc.), I am only selling it because I would like to move on to another project.
I have owned this truck since day 1, purchased brand new from Fritts Ford in Riverside, Ca. and it has been my baby ever since.
Featured in Off-Road Magazine twice. Full spread, also chosen as one of top 4 trucks of the year: 2006 Ford Ranger - http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1204or-2006-ford-ranger-mr-clean/
No expense spared on this build. All work performed by top name Off Road racing fabrication shops in So Cal (Armada Engineering/S.I. Motorsports/Dixon Bros.) All the best components used throughout the build, and assembled with great attention to detail.
Many detailed pictures here: SI Motorsports, Inc. - http://simotorsportsinc.com/rattlesnake/rattlesnake.html
Full detailed build thread here: http://www.dezertrangers.com/vb/dr-rides/214188.htm
This truck does it all. Pre-run race courses, load it with gear to chase, play in the desert/dunes/rocks with 4x4, plenty of storage for extended camping trips, and then drive to work on Monday. Just passed smog/current reg, totally street legal.
Currently 120k miles on 100% stock 4.0 sohc V6 engine and 5 speed automatic trans with working 4wd. This truck has NEVER left me stranded in the desert. It has never been trailered anywhere, always driven to and from trips, been proven over many off road miles, and has always driven to work after any trip.
This truck is extremely capable, and very well equipped. Has been used as a daily driver, off road toy, and chase truck, always performed flawlessly. Always meticulously maintained/cleaned/prep before and after every trip, people always ask if it's ever been off road because it is cleaned up so well. I really take pride in my truck, and always take excellent care of it.
Please call with any questions - Lowball offers will be politely turned down.
