I am selling my 2006 Ram 2500 5.9l Crew Cab with a custom VMI aluminum pop up wedge camper. Below is a link to the original build thread by the original owner.

The BAD:

1. I think I lost an injector which may have washed out a cylinder. I have an appointment to test the compression July 25th so determine the damage. I new 5.9 can be installed for around 20k with a high end build from Industrial Injection out of SLC. She still drives and has good power, but is using oil.

2. The camper had a water leak in the roof which I have since fixed and have had no issues. The plywood on the inside is slightly warped and will need replacing if you want to have interior access to the storage.

3. I hit a guard rail this winter and did some damage to the driver's side doors and flatbed. Only cosmetic not structural. Flatbed works well and the doors still work properly.

I am happy to sell the truck and camper as a package and/or sell them separately. The truck has been awesome but I need to upgrade to something better for the wife and dogs. I did upgrade the wheels and tires to match the truck GVWR. Now the tires and wheels will not be overloaded when towing. I am asking 25k for the whole package as is, but open to reasonable offers on the package or individually.

Truck is located in Leavenworth WA.

Bump.

Looking for offers for the complete package or separately. Compression test did show low compression and the mechanic recommends a rebuild on the engine. Thanks.

It depends on your shop. A brand new crate 5.9 installed from Industrial Injection would be around 18k including injectors. The VMI camper is removable and is designed to be mounted on a Bradford flatbed as shown in the image with bolts. The camper is great and still fully functional. The water damage was minimal with swelling in the plywood access panels.
