For sale 2006 GX 470 (non KDSS and non NAV) modified for moderate off-road/trail use and over landing. I bought the GX in March of 2018 with 115k miles on it, now has about 157k miles on it. It has been used but not abused and I have a build thread documented on IH8MUD linked here:

CO_Hunter’s GX470 build

Video link

The build thread has all the significant modifications and pictures listed, including:

OME suspension(airbag delete),

4 runner wheels, 285 70 17 BFG tires

8.2” rear end swap with ARB rear locker regeared to 4.56 (Slee off-road),

front ARB bumper, with 8k Warn winch

rear Coastal off-road rear bumper, with tire and Jerry can carriers

Hefty fab bolt on sliders,

dual battery,

solar ready,

rear power ports,

attic rack,

fridge slide out,

roof rack,

Autohome RTT,

ARB awning with light kit (relocation to rear ready),

light bar,

fog lights,

HAM radio (only if you have valid license, otherwise it will be removed).

The bad:

Surface frame rust since moving to ID. While in CO I would rinse it after every winter trip and was not able to do that the first two winters in ID. Some surface rust on frame, not damaged.

I was going to take off the rear bumper and replace one of the reverse lights (still works, just not full brightness, I have the replacement). Spun the capture nut, so now the bolt heads needs to be cut off and remove bumper to weld in new capture nut, not a big deal, just a little time.

Clear coat is all but gone on the hood and roof above the windshield. I can only guess it was TX and CO sun damage. The hood has some minor hail dings. If I were to keep it I would just black out the hood.

RTT has some hairline cracks in gel coat. I used a gel coat repair kit and made it look worse, good thing you can’t see it. Does not leak at all, only cosmetic.

Roof rack has some rust since I used the same rust oleum paint. Did not try to fix this since new owner may want to powder coat or even go with different rack.

Rear bumper has start of spotty rust from rock rash underneath. Again, new owner may want to powder coat eventually, does not need attenuation anytime soon.

Otherwise normal wear and tear. I am only selling because it is not the vehicle we need anymore, got a full size truck to fit a new life chapter so this needs to go.

More pics available on request and happy to answer all questions.

Asking $22,500 and currently located north of Sandpoint, Idaho.
