2006 tundra build start

Found a 2006 limited AC with a clean bill of health. Truck had 104k and one owner, and took around 6 months to find.

It had shiny 18's, low pros tires and steps when I bought it.
First thing was to get rid of those. The guy who I bought it from actually had some all black 17's so I just used those and went with a 255/75 bfg ko2.

Just waiting for wheelers to get some more OME springs.
I am going to go with the 5100, new coils and a new pack from Deaver.
I really want to mod an LC100 bumper for the truck. Hopefully that will happen in the next few months.

That's a nice change. Glad you got rid of the steps and wheels. I do like the AC Tundras....the box and cab aren't as tall as the DC and therefore looks a little better proportioned. My DC looks like a whale sometimes.

I've seen the LC100 bumper mod and it does look very nice. I knew I didn't want to mess with trying to make one fit so I went with Brute Force Fab and couldn't be happier. Either way you go it will look good.

For what it's worth the 884s yielded right at 1.5" of lift on my double cab. You may get closer to 2" on the AC. Are you hoping the truck will sit level or have some rake?

Some rake is what I am looking for.
I am going to put a shell on the back and then have Deaver do a custom pack. So the 1.5 -2" up front would be perfect

I have bee trying to find some more photos of the brute force for the tundra. Is it a simple and clean as the old school ARB ?

Way better than ARB in my opinion. Simple and clean, with options for front hoop, full bars, etc. Just tell Brute Force Fab what you want. Look on their Instagram page for more pictures of various options. The options on the Tacoma's are virtually the same as the Tundra. The bumper for the Tundra comes fully assembled and ready for powder coat. It uses the factory frame mounting points and ties into the frame with 10 bolts (5 on each side). Bumpers are winch-ready, and it is mounted inside where it is protected. The Brute Force Fab bumpers stick out far less than the ARB Sahara Bar. The LC100 ARB bumper has a better profile, but requires a lot of modification (frame and hood/grille opening)

For reference here are a few pictures of mine. I had mine made with center bar and side supports, with single square fog light cut outs.

Doesn't move or shake at all and is totally solid. The fit was perfect. No trimming or modifications necessary. As much as I like the look of the LC100 ARB bumper, I honestly like the BF Fab better. And it's way easier to install.
