Unless that comes with a document showing that motor has had a full bulletproof kit done including a new turbo, the heads machined, etc the owner is smoking crack.

What would you estimate the van is worth with the information given? At 124000 miles you think a full-blown bulletproofing ($10k-$12k) is necessary?

From what I've read, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, the later year 6.0 were not as bad as the early ones and don't need to be bullet proofed like the earlier years...it helps but is not always necessary.

That being said, I'd say its a little over priced. It has the cool factor going for it, it has the sportsmobile name and I personally think it looks pretty ************. It comes ready to go and has a lot of creature comforts.

Yeah, once again what we’re seeing here is simply the continuation of what I refer as “Bend/Portland/Seattle” pricing. The high prices of adventure campers up there in the PNW closely follows the ridiculously high housing prices in those same markets.

I guess the rationale is, if you can afford to live up there, you can similarly afford their high prices for vehicles and campers.

You can really save by trying to find similar rigs in the SW, because you’re going to be able to spend a lot less moolah down here than what you’d wind up paying for those PNW asking prices.

Everything is a roll of the dice. Price. Value. Etc. who knows...the number one factor in selling anything is price. House. Car. Computer etc. ask whatever you want. But what it sells for is usually different
