2007 Dodge Sprinter camper conversion
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Price: $37,900
Engine: 6cyl Diesel
Mileage: 256,000 km
RWD
This wonderful home on wheels is freshly serviced and ready for adventure.
Features:
Conversion completed in May 2019
Double/Full size bed platform with a large 'garage' space underneath
Climate control is provided via an Espar D2 diesel heater and Maxxair Maxxfan. Insulated with polyiso foam, this van is designed to be cozy and moisture free over winter and stay cool in the summer heat.
300w of solar connected to a 200ah AGM battery, which is also charged via the alternator and has to option to plug in for charging (4 stage, 55amp charger)
Dinette with a fridge/freezer combo, 7 gallons of fresh water, and a portable propane stove
Lagun table mount creates a flexible dining/working space
The van just went through an extensive service (including scheduled Service B) and 49 point inspection. Service A is due in 16,000km
2007 is a great year for Sprinters. The first year of the NCV3 design but before they added the complicated and troublesome DEF system in 2009.
MPG of 16-18 in the city and 18-20 on the highway. I built this conversion with special attention on saving weight in order to maintain good driveability and fuel economy
I've owned the van for 2 years and in that time I have done a lot of preventative maintenance and improvements including a new DPF ($$$), new front and rear suspension, recall service for driver and passenger airbags, new intercooler, new valve seals, etc.
All service was completed at Precision Auto in Langley, one of the areas best Sprinter shops. I have records for all service, and I also have the Carfax for the vehicle from 2018 when I bought it.
No accidents on record (although there are a few small dings and dents which are to be expected of a commercial vehicle of this age)
This is also one of the more rust free Sprinters I have seen, of any age. There is some occasional spots of surface rust but nothing of any significant penetration. Sprinters are known to either be 'the good ones' or the 'rusty ones', and this is definitely one of the good ones, showing less rust then my 2014 Sprinter and many even newer ones I have seen.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have, and would be more then happy to give you a virtual tour of the van, and arrange a covid safe in person tour at your convenience.
Please note that the mattress and other bedding is not included in the sale.
