2008 Fuso FG140 in excellent condition. Pre DEF with dual range.

4.9 Litre 147 hp turbo diesel engine (350 ft/lbs of torque), 5 speed manual transmission, , 4WD 2 speed transfer case. 204k miles on the diesel engine. Mechanically runs perfect. Turbo diesel has plenty of pep for mountain passes.

This engine is a 4M50 which is comparable to a cummins 4BT, can go 500k miles easy with regular maintenance. A bulletproof motor. Pre DEF model Fuso.

33gal fuel tank. Probably gets 12-15mpg depending how you drive it. Cruises at highway speeds no problem.

Wheels are black super singles imported from Australia specially designed for fuso with a spare on the back.

37” Hankook Dynapro MT’s

The truck has always ran great and has been maintained well throughout its life. I purchased it from a Fuso dealer, and it was previously owned by Earthcruiser as a parts runner truck before that.

The aluminum camper was built by a collection of fabricators and engineers from Reno, NV and myself. It was conceptualized to have the lightweight/ offroad advantages of a camper such as a Four Wheel camper, but with the strength and integrity of a hardside pop up, the advantages of less drag while driving, and the availability to put it in a sea-container or a high garage without a problem. Custom 2 piece door to open when the top is down or up. R10 1" and 2" insulation throughout walls and floor and 2" and 3" on the roof.

4 independent heavyweight synced electric actuators with a standalone battery. All actuators go to one switch for actuation of the top. Each corner has a set of poly urethane sliding blocks that allow the up and down movement with no slack. Weather sealed and tight all the way around.

The interior of the camper was finished with beautiful 1/4” birch all throughout, and fitted with 10 windows that all match up when lowered and provide great light when popped up. It is around 6 foot 7 inside when popped up.

The bed is an articulating bed with 6 points of articulation and springs that allow the bed to flex without twisting the camper. Built with the help and guidance of another fuso owner from this forum.

The entire camper is removable with 4 bolts and camper jacks. Take the camper off, drive right out, and use the truck as a flatbed for whatever utility you need. This process takes 5 minutes. Ive never seen another Fuso with this setup.

Aluminum accordion steps for entry.

Rear bumper is custom made to swing down and swap a tire easy.

The interior is built out with 2 baltic birch bench seats with lots of storage under. The bed is converted from the two 5" mattress pads into a queen size bed when both mattresses are put side by side. A small custom fold out birch table is inserted in the spot underneath the area in the middle to complete the bed surface. ( See in photos). The opposite side of the camper has another bench with 2 individual seats for sitting and eating or relaxing or working on a computer etc. and also has storage underneath ( currently houses the battery for the pop up mechanism, and jacks stands to remove camper). There is also 1 small storage area next to the sink for a cooler/ small refrigerator that is empty storage as of now.

The kitchen is a fold down stainless steel sink, and a fold down stainless steel propane burner, with a nice little flat countertop when nothing is being used. Storage under sink and burner with magnetic door closure.

Entire rig is wrapped in a satin gun metal color, it looks good. And I have lots of extra wrap for any scratches or blemishes that might occur in the future.

The camper box is approximately 14x7 feet. It is super light weight as it is all aluminum frame. My guess is the curb weight of the entire rig is around 10k lbs, and the GVRW is 14,500. Plenty to build on still.

The truck has 2 air seats in the cab with an onboard air compressor that makes the ride way nicer than stock seats.

Ready to rip! It is absolutely a blast to drive and gets a lot of questions. With some more additions this thing could be an amazing overland/ RV. I don't have the means to completely finish it so hoping it can go to someone who can use it to its full potential.

Priced to sell.

60k OBO

The truck is located in Sacramento, CA

Nice rig. I'm curious why the habitat door on the driver's side? Is that the only location that works for the stepwell?
