Hey folks!
I appreciate your patience with this detailed overview, as I believe any potential buyer of this stunning FJC would want to know all the ins and outs!
First of all, this FJC has been well-loved and cared for by Toyota enthusiast owners. It’s extremely clean, and I often hear people ask, “Is this new from the dealer?” Take a look at the pictures, and you’ll see what I mean.
My great plans for this vehicle were to take a year off from work, ship it overseas, and cover as much of the world as I could before the year was over. Unfortunately, kids’ college tuitions and other “adult” responsibilities have put this plan on the back burner. The build is two years old, with only “testing” off-road miles and about 2,000 road miles. Every part still looks like it was just unwrapped. There is well over $50k in quality parts alone (the best available, in my opinion), and every detail is well thought out.
The build objective was a bit excessive with attention to detail and only quality parts were used - getting back home safely from any trail was top priority. You can see that from the parts list below, including the $6k crate Dana 60 rear end, $2k spindles, $2k winch, $1.3k chromoly shafts, $2k Icon beadlocks, a trans cooler, dual ARB lockers with tank, lights galore, and more.
Currently, it has a bit over 85,000 miles, which is nothing for these engines if you know them. All of the fluids—along with many other components that are wet or prone to wear, like wheel bearings, u-joints, seals, rubber molding, and wipers—have been changed. It literally feels like a brand-new truck.
I’m looking for $32,500 and the vehicle is located in Union City, CA.
Parts list: I could not find receipts for all parts, but below are most of the important ones.
