Hi, first time poster here.
I am looking for Information & Ideas that are Pertinent to the 2010 & Up Ford E-Series Vans that are Doing the 4X4 Radius Arm Conversion With RSC. When I started our Journey, Reading Countless Threads on the Pros & Cons of Radius Arms & Leaf Springs there were Two Main Suppliers of Home Builder Products; Timberline & U-Joint. Last Year Timberline Closed their Doors leaving those of us that had Acquired the Correct Ford Super Duty Axles for The Timberline Radius Arm Suspension Conversion Left in the Dark - No Installation Information - No Aftermarket Parts - No Explanation - No Warning - Nothing! Our 2011 Ford E-350 Super Duty Gasser has RSC, a 2X 4R75E Transmission & the Dana Axle in the Back. I have acquired a 2008 Ford 6.4L F-350 Lariat Super Duty Loaded for the Wheels, Front Dana & Components, Rear Sterling Axles & NV273F Transfer Case. I am Quite Capable of Overhauling / Installing the Correct 31 Spline 4R75E Input Shaft in the 2008 34 Splined NV237F Transfer Case if Needed.
First: I want to Transplant Both Axles into Our Van, I haven't been able to Locate Specific Instructions for Installing or Adapting the 2010 & Up E-Series RSC Components to the 2008 F-350 Axles - Also Possible Solutions to Installing or Obtaining the Correct Parking Brake Cables for the Swap? Any Help Here would be Greatly Appreciated.
Second: Relating to the 4R75E 4X4 Transmission Conversion Components, I have been told that the 2008 4X4 4R75E Transmission Components that are used in the 2009 and Down 4R75E Conversion, Including the 31 Spline Output Shaft are not Compatible with the 2011 RSC 4R75E Transmission. I am looking for the Correct Part Numbers if Available for the 2010 & Up 4R75E Transmissions.
Third: Ford Continued to use the 4R75E 4X4 Transmission up to the 2010 Ford F-150. Will the 2010 4R75E Gasser Transmission Accept a 31 Splined NV237F Transfer Case? Or is it more Practical to Swap the Whole 2010 Transfer Case/Transmission in the Conversion? Is the 2010 4R75E Output Shaft 31 0r 34 Splined?
Thank you,
