I am using the stock wheel. I am only gaining 4 lbs. perfect! my wheel setup on my JK is tipping 80 lbs per wheel. You notice it too!
50+ per tire is definitely gonna effect some take off Thats pretty heavy for the size of rig.

just did the math. 25 lbs per wheel and 58 lbs per tire for my JK setup. 83lbs the factory setup is mid 60s. So its not as bad as you think but she still don't have the same ommph as stock. But that's ok, it goes over MUCH more terrain. Same with the ole pat. 235s up from 205 that weighs only 4lbs more, I should not feel that too much. The pat will loose a lot of acceleration and driveability with a lot of tire weight as it does not have a lot of torque to move them. That's why I am sticking to the factory wheels, spacers and lightweight tires.

I probably should've just bought 1.25 spacer and some sweet tires. I really want that wider stance which is why I went with the 7032 but I probably could've gotten close to the same stance with the spacers. I have a feeling my little rig is gonna feel bogged down with 50+pds per wheel. Are you going with 235/70/16....I can't remember if you have the 16 steelies or the 17 alloys lol.

I have the 17" alloys in black. I am going with 235/65/17. Yeah, the boys over on the other site will tell you, YEAH ITS awesome with the LT tires on the little pat, and its no difference....but lemme tell ya, IT will be SLOW and will wear on your cvt more as well. (oh no, did I just say that)......yes, yes I did. ha ha. If you use the kumho at51s you will be better off than a LT tire, that's for sure. remember, lightweight with the pat, its not a truck based SUV. its car based.

Yeah your definitely right about that lol. I am gonna look into the khumos. Saving weight and saving the cvt at the sametime!!!!

Here is the link to them.

The 235/70/16 is 31 lbs per tire. the 235/65/17 is 30 lbs So your close there 5 lbs more than stock. or maybe still 4. you were running 16s. so maybe the stock tire is a lb heavier than mine.

Sweet Thanks! They are pretty awesome! Even with those im still gonna be 53.7 pounds on each wheel. I wonder if 225/75 would buldge out too much causing me to loose the extra ride height on the 8 inch rim? 235/70 would sit good on my pro comps but I was hoping to gain an extra inch with the 225/75. Now i'm wondering if that 1 inch loss from the width of the 225 would cause it loose the 1 inch of height because of sidewall buldge...if that made any sense lol.

I don't think it will make a huge difference. Its not as bad as everyone over on the other site will make you think it was.

Well, I had a change of heart, I was going to use an ebay rack, murch springs etc, but I think we are going to go with everything RRO has in its repetoir for the little jeep. I am really liking their roof rack. It was not available at the time when I had my last pat. Low profile, strong, and a great price. Can't wait now. Did you get a list done for your uncle sam parts? ha ha.

Those racks are awesome! I'm wondering if they will ever fab up a drop in rack like a baja rack for an fj.

Man my list is endless lol. Unfortunately my tax money...well and what im allowed to spend is not lol. I have about $1500 so i'm definitely getting tires and a lift. But since I have have a 2010 fd1 I can get the moog constant rate springs and get 2 inches out of that. Then if I have some money left over...I will get a roof basket and the inverter to finish my power outlet.

Cool....Yeah I want the roof rack asap. low profile and sort of stock looking is high on our priority list. last thing for us is the lift as we can do everything we want without it but I just want to extra clearance....

The kumhos I am getting ar the new AT51s.

Thats what I have on my Dakota, but they are about 32" tire. So far they have been great in the dirt on the roads and in the snow. I got them on the truck mounted for something like $115 per tire because of rebates and stuff.
