2010 Xterra Off Road, the Raven

I've owned 1st gen Xterras for 12 years, my last was a 2002 SC manual transmission. The engine seized up at 237k and I couldn't justify replacing it.
I found this 2010 at a dealer in Massachusetts, it came with Shrockworks bumpers, sliders and full skids. Aftermarket UCA's, Radflo coilovers and adjustable shackles give 2" of lift. There was a Hi-Lift jack under the rear seat and a Texas off road park map in the glove box.
Everyone always says mods don't add value, they did for me!
I put the Gobi rack I'd bad on my 02 and took it to AOAA in Pennsylvania for the Nexterra ECXC.
Going to the NEA4WD Fall Crawl in September.
Planning on rebuilding a Warn winch this winter. Screenshot_20240510_060404_Chrome.jpg20240511_191303.jpg20240520_115259.jpg20240713_143844.jpg20240713_160251.jpg20240713_182022.jpg

Very nice!!! Congrats!!

Being a 2010, make sure SMOD has been taken care of. Basically the trans cooler leaks internally of the radiator and mixes trans fluid and coolant, basically destroying the transmission. It's as simple as bypassing the radiator with an external cooler OR change out the radiator to a later unit that doesn't have this issue.

Very good point, from what I could find online, 2010 had less smod occurrences. I didn't want to risk it, so I installed a Kyorad radiator just past the 100k mark. 20240625_144728.jpg20240625_151324.jpg
