Just came back from Punta Cabra to see the pit crews. I took a few photos and video and when this yellow Trophy Truck came by I remembered seeing him yesterday at Ojos Negros. Well, I barely got a photo of him yesterday at 1:27pm as he was ripping as he went by me. This morning at 9:am and 20 hours and 560 miles later (100 more plus to the finish in Ensenada) I get another photo of him. The truck is not as bright and shiny and missing a few parts but still going strong. Driver gave me the thumbs up as he passed me. The Baja 1000 deserves to be called the Toughest Off Road Race in the world. Same can be said about the drivers and co-drivers.
