Hey Everyone,
Finally pulling the trigger (potentially) on an 2011 NPR Eco-Max w/ a 14ft Dry Box. 4JJ1-TC (3.0L 150hp)
My Questions Include:
Is the 4JJ1-TC a junk diesel engine? The list price is lower than most other models with similar year, milelage and wear n tear. So am I missing something?
I know these things were introduced because of EPA and CARB standards, and I hear horror storys. I havent seen any later models of the "Eco-Max" did they rename it possibly? Just made them all HD?
Also, is this thing going to struggle passing through colorado or going up and down the hills of PA?
I figured I will probably be at around 2,000lbs in the back.
Can these things be swapped out with the 4hk1?
I will attached some photos, has about 140k miles on it.
Will i regret buying this thing? 15k is alot of money for me.
If anyone has any information on this that would be most helpful.
