2011 ram 5500,
former hot shot rig, documentary movie "years of living dangerously", schwarzenegger crew truck,
101 k miles.
6.7, cc filter done, fuel filter done every fall or before long trip, 5/40 syn, starts runs perfect,
asin 6sp--the good one, all fluids clean and clear, just back from overland in Loveland , dry underneath

4.88 gearing, l/s in rear diff
55 gal heavy steel offroad fuel tank

steel personnel cab is able to support vehicle if rolled over, no questions--14k+. probably
take a few trees out as well,,.
All steel and welded interior
dual a/c / heat systems on board,
floating bed inside, single or queen and quick take down changeable, or take outside and replace and clean, quick
fast--things get dirty in backcountry, think service-ability

pac brake air bags and compressor and tank with air hose for your tires or hair.
victron charge controller, also a front victron inverter, and rear 2200 cobra inverter
1 big lynx lithium, with cold 32 degree weather lock out.
dual charging system with onboard interstate expensive agms up front,
generator--lp and gas switchabile, note: propane freezes at -44.

propex heat--chinese diesel setup will make you mad at -15 degrees in yellowstone!
aux solar systems to charge agm and truck on own. separated systems.
back up ego generator with charger to charge going down road and solar backup for those. solars have brackets to hang on drip rails if needed.
and easy to buy batteries at ace hardware. anywhere ....and can run other tools! saws, fans etc.

hang on ecotemp hot water heater big, also electric pump set up 3 gal per min.
smaller hot water shower portable lp back up, single burner stove portabile, outside dual. Have stayed in truck not running down to -10
its comfortable enough. Have stayed in it plugged in to -30.

burner, groover toliet and pop tent, expandable and replaceable water system,,things freeze in the north and
custom stuff you have to wait on, cannot wait on road, simple and effective works, 39 gal
overhead water bag for summer,3/ 5 gallon handy water for winter. 12volt/110 removable fridge, you can add more, change it around easy.

Has 225 series tires I want to go to 245's ---big big big tires (look cool) but make you taller on trail and
can you get a tire overnight in the Yukon?? or get out of back country with only one spare? those are thoughts we have taken this truck places that were tight. A crew cab 3500 series truck is about the same length 23ft.

cool wheels are nice but steel can be beaten back in shape with hammer. extras can be tied to roof.
manual tire tools--you can change a 19.5 on the ground. come with truck.
hand tools, cummins injector tools, volt meter, scan tools, carpentry tools, spares, belt, filters,
spares and items to get you out of a jam, recovery equipment , wiring diagrams and
instructions best practices and tech suppport form ase master 36 years , ford senior master
and advisor and former instructor to oem's.

the not so good,
I am not rich,I have a small loan at the bank so you have to pay to get title.
I have 7 vehicles between me and wife if i sell 2, i get to do what i want, I like this one..ahem...so talk and move if your interested.
If you drive 2-350 miles and refill with fuel you get a code 20 miles down road for low crankcase pressure, truck has a S&B air intake installed from government and they s&b had a update on how it scavenges the ccase air and it has been changed and it has no blowby and has new ccfilter and sensor, you could change back to factory air box or leave it alone, it has a washable dry filter with outwearers screen , no oiled filter to mess up maf sensor--fyi.. but light will come on 2-300 miles. this truck runs beautiful, regens normal and running 65-66 gets 11-11.5mpg, if i slow rpm down
to 1800rpm gets 13-14, if you were to put taller tire it you can increase mileage, has no issues with power, none,,it accelerates fantastic, weights 14k pounds. note: wife took it out in boonies with mom for an extended trip and drives easy. Gov paid and had new dpf filter installed before we bought it. That's a lot of cash.
dual a/c heater in back of truck works fine but after every winter by august i have to recharge the second a/c system with refrigerant, 5 lbs of 134a, it appears to have a small leak at second a/c compressor, I just recharged it,

When i pull heavy 10-12 percent grades 10 miles long at 40-70 mph , which i have close by, when it is 100 degrees outside the main engine fan wants to run harder and I usually pull over and let it catch up---note there are usually new trucks at this section of the pass getting brakes or towed off mountain your lighter duty transmission temps will go over 230, i have seen it, i am in the repair business, I watch it and give it a break and no issues, transmission always stays cool, note: the winch and grille guard block a section of the front radiator hole in front bumper, it is a warn set up installed by the government and I usually prefer a hydraulic winch, milemarkers on the xhd stuff, but the winch works and its there but if i went way south I would change it, or monitor there are a few heavy grades and it can get to 115 easy in west Texas. But gauge system on truck allows you to watch and monitor easily and its very accurate.

there are some plastic trim items on cowl plastic that need replaced (normal wear and tear), the seats although very vinyl wrapped and nice are not as nice as bmw or recaro's or king ranch i prefer a cloth seat for breathability,

I have a hilton heater i have not installed it is for a semi it is a propane powered coolant block heater for super cold north. not installed, another solar victron controller for an idea i had and put on hold. The rear cobra 2200 wat inverter acts oddly at times and I haven't spent time to figure it out.

also has a large ecotemp higher flow hang on heater that needs tweaking to get super hot shower, small shower set up is fine for most,
but wife wanted water pressure 3gal per min which it is 3x what most systems produce, I have some thought on this i will share with purchaser, has creek filter and long plumbing hoses for off grid blah blah stuff.

I think it needs overhead deck with removable
