******** and Todd Lemke disguised a 2102 Ram 3500 diesel pickup using body parts from a 1966 GMC pickup. The project took 8 months of evening and weekend labor. The result is fantastic! I had a 65 Suburban, and love the look of the GMC/Chevy pickups of this era.

Picked up that magazine just for this article. Was disappointed with how little coverage they actually did on it since this was the cover vehicle.

I wonder why he bought a dually but converted it to a single rear wheel?

Likely the reason. Both the SRW and DRW HD Rams uses the 11.5 axle (11.75 on post 2013).

Repo.com in Burnaby had a nearly new F350 DRW for only $26k (though 2wd). These regular cab duallies can be bargains!
