2012 Windansea Surfers Reunion

The 18th annual Windansea Surfers Reunion will be held Sept. 8th, 2012 in La Jolla, California at the famous Windansea beach. Attached is a photo of the board I shaped and it will be raffled off($1 per ticker) Saturday afternoon. The photo does not bring out the vibrant blue of the ocean and the fantastic details of the Baja 1000 Off Road Race Trophy Truck. Should you be in La Jolla please come join us for surfing, music, luau and many raffle prizes. Look for or ask for me, George Lanning, and I will be so happy to meet other Expo members. Oh, I am the old guy in the middle of the photo.

Hi George. Met you at Cuatro Casas several years back. My husband is Whitney Guild.... ( his dad is Don Guild - Guild Drugs) ... anyway.... just sayin Hola! We are up in Encinitas when not in Baja (or Utah for the winter)....

Hi Carolyn I read your posting last week and while reading your interview and web page I said to myself " I know her". Wow, small world. Is it possible you and Whitney acan attend the Windansea Reunion? I will be at the Rancherita Restaurant in La Jolla ( corner of La Jolla Blvd and Marine Street) Friday evening Sept. 7th( a get together for many of us old surfers) and all day at Windansea Beach Saturday the 8th. Would be great to see both of you again and maybe we can figure out a surf trip when you are in Baja. Thanks for getting in touch. George
