OK, like the newer mall crawlers, I am looking for a front-facing camera to clear obstacles (not at a mall 🤣) and a rear-mounted camera to avoid backing into something I can see due to the spare tire and MWC/Gas cans on the rear bumper.
Local car stereo shops want to sell me some basic NTSC generic cameras to avoid shopping carts at the grocery store or Walmart, not something reasonable to show what might slice a tire or something similar that would be a bad experience. They are all about ~$400~$600 stereo options with Android Auto and Apple Car Play and PS4/Gamebox connections!
I am thinking basic High Def resolutions (or anything reasonably close) with a wide angle Field of View and good low-light performance without washing out in the Sunshine of the West during Summer. Also, all hard wire due to existing electronic interference issues with my build electronics and radios.
