2015/2016 Chevy Colorado with fwc fleet?

I am very intrigued with the new Chevy Colorado diesel, and am putting serious thought into pairing it with a fwc fleet.

Does ANYONE have a fleet on a 2015/2016 Chevy (or GMC) Colorado (or canyon)? If so, I would really like to see some pictures!

I called fwc and they told me that the bed is much deeper on these trucks, so they (fwc) have to build a "box" for the camper to sit on, so that it clears the bed. I am wondering how tall the camper sits with this box, how much of a gap there is under the cabover, etc.

Not too bad it seems like all the newer pickups are getting the deeper beds so this will probably be a trend with the new trucks coming out. Almost wondering if there is enough space for a low profile roof rail that could be used to hold a deflector. Then again the flex factor is probably not really known yet with these new trucks. FWC is not far from where I grew up one of these days I want to swing by and check them out. I do like their campers! I wana see a flat bed FWC on the new Canyon/Colorado ;-) I'm waiting for the new Frontier to show up by then the Midsized rush should be slowing up and some slightly used trucks should start appearing on the market. I'm done with buying cars from dealers! The 2016 Ford we just bought put the last nail in the dealer coffin for me. Next time its either Tesla direct sales or used from a private seller. Sick of the dealer model BS!!! When are the consumers going to start demanding we get a direct sales model going for vehicles? Rant over...

Thanks Stan! I knew someone must have this setup.

Interesting to see how much wider the fleet is than the truck. I thought these new small pickups were bigger, closer to a full size. It almost looks like a fwc eagle might be a better match.

Do you have any photos of the Colorado/fleet from different angles?
