I didn't see another thread regarding this simple mod to our vans so I wanted to share. After having my van for a few weeks Im finding that the factory shocks are to blame for a lot of the poor ride quality on anything thats not fairly smooth. I have also noticed that complaint come up in a few threads so I went to find the common bilsteins folks are using to replace the stockers. Thats when I ran across a company that I have used before but in a different application called RideTech. I found a seller on eBay selling van specific shocks valved specifically for 2015+ express 2500 and 3500. I have yet to receive the shocks but I will put them on and let y'all know how they do. For $189 on sale I couldn't pass it up. They are rebuildable and can be revalved if needed. I have the link but for some reason I can't post links I guess cause Im new. Just go to eBay and search express 3500 (or 2500) ride tech shocks.

I installed the Ridetech shocks front and rear and went ahead and did a level kit as well this weekend. Very nice components and shock install went well but the level kit required a spring compressor despite what the directions said so it took me a little longer to install those. I need to run it to alignment but its already a huge improvement in ride quality and ride height for under $500 ($189 for shocks plus shipping and $240 for leveling kit) so Im pretty happy. The squishy up and down over bumps is greatly reduced. The ride is firmer so if you have stiff tires you feel the road a little more. I prefer that over the up and down seasick feeling I was getting with the old shocks. I noticed the ridetechs are Inverted style which explains the enhanced ride quality and road feel. Well see how well they hold up but know they are fully rebuildable.
rears installed. Forgot the side by side pic.

The night I brought the van home.Only pic I have of the van prior to lift. My oldest daughter wasn't too happy with losing the TV that we had in the tahoe but liked the van hence the thumbs up and thumbs down she's giving. :)

After leveling kit and shocks, the front looks higher but the drive in front of my business is angled. It sits pretty level. Im sure after alignment and some settling it will be perfect.
