2015 JK Subwoofer Location

Does anyone know if the 2015 sub will fit in the cubby of a pre-2015?

I'm considering doing this to fit a larger drawer where the 2014 subwoofer is. I'd like to keep a subwoofer since that's how the system is designed. I don't think having a mat or drawer on top of a subwoofer would change the sound much. It's probably more about vibration than actual sound.

I don't know the answer, but add me to the list of people wondering this. My thoughts on this placement have changed to positive. I want the additional trunk space taken up by my side mounted sub, and I can rarely access that cubby anyways.

I don't have the sub (430N) on my 2015, didn't want it in the back anyways, genright second fuel tank, and a drawer system in the back. However, if someone figures out how to build a good box, and fit the factory sub under the seat I would be more than happy to plagiarize their hard work...
