2016 Diesel Z71 Chevy Colorado 4x4

Single owner (I'm married, but you know what I mean !), meticulously maintained, garage kept, turn key diesel overland exploration truck ! This truck has taken me to some incredible places and is 100% ready to do the same for you !

Truck runs strong, as it should. Heat and AC work great. No accidents. No rust.

This torquey 2.8L Duramax engine has averaged 23.7mpg across 67,289miles/2,828.2gal of diesel.

- Heated seats (dual zone)
- Power drivers seat
- 7,700lb tow rating

- 46,970mi 5yr fluid change:
--Transmission
--Transfer Case
--Front+Rear Differential
--Brake Fluid
--Coolant

The bad:

- Windshield has safelite repaired chip behind rear view mirror that is not visible to driver (happened in 2016. Zero issues, no spidering.)
- Truck has 3 dents. A tiny pinpoint dent in driver door (from a lifted F350 passenger door) and the other two are, we'll say moderate, dents: one in the driver front quarter panel from an F250 (seriously, why do Fords hate me ?) with steel bumpers and one in the tailgate from me misjudging where a branch was while backing up (sorry truck/next owner !).
- Minor pinstriping in paint from green leafy things

That's it. I have relied on this truck to take me to some incredibly remote places and it has always got me home, so I have diligently maintained it and added capability wherever was needed. You could throw a bed rack + rooftop tent on this tomorrow, or be a peasant ground tent camper like I am (haha), and drive coast to coast if you wanted.

To be clear, this truck has a rear cargo platform with hatches and rails - no rear seats (see pictures). This means you can take your wife and dog(s) (please use a harness and give them a soft bed !) but not your human kid(s) (if applicable).

The price is relatively firm, since there is over $15k in modifications to this truck, but I am willing to entertain offers. I do really love this truck; I've loved building it and exploring with it, but I'd say it's pretty much built and I have acquired an LMTV to build into a bigger rig for my dream retirement trip across America, to the California Redwoods, Denali in AK, and back to NC. I think it's time for this very capable truck to bring freedom and nature to someone else.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have a million pictures of this truck and happy to send more ! Some of these pictures are from the time of modification (like the ARB Twin, which is covered by the coolant reservoir). I have done my best to fairly describe the trucks current condition; I just drove this 120mi on 28 Nov with no issues (no driveline vibrations, no weirdness, nothing. Just the sound of the wind and diesel engine).

Backseat is power prepped, with 4x 10AWG power cables from the Blue Sea Systems fuse block under the hood and 1x 1/0AWG ground to a cab ground point.

What do you use to output the engine data to the iPad?

I second that question and ask how and what are you using for the tablet mount.

It is a BAFX Wireless Bluetooth Obd2 Scanner outputting to Torque Pro. Works with pretty much any OBD2 vehicle, and I can export the layout if anyone is interested. The balance rates will be GM specific but the rest are universal.

It is mounted with an X-RAM Tablet mount to a CPAM (Colorado Powered Accessory Mount) by Expedition Essentials which provides USB charging. I added 2x RJ45 LAN ports and an RJ11 cable to the CPAM for remote mounting radio heads or data connectivity.

I mount my phone, tablet, and gopro to it with RAM mounts. Midland GMRS radio (not included) is remote mounted under the rear platform where the antenna/RF cables all end along with 12v power.

Note: I have yet to figure out what that fueling rate is actually trying to tell me because it is definitely NOT using 7.2 Liters(~2gal)/minute. haha.

If you don't mind exporting the layout, that would be awesome. I just downloaded the app now.
