I understand I am reaching deep with this request as it is not an expo vehicle, that said I feel it is a stellar platform for one and this information can/could benefit others. I run a 2016 ram 3500 cc 4x4 tradesmen with the 6.4 hemi as my work/dd truck. I put a descent amount of miles on (feb will make it 2 yrs old and I’m sitting about 56k). It regularly pulls 15000lbs and when empty is on and off highway depending on the job site requirements. A month or so ago I punctured the fuel tank on my way to work somehow, paved roads, no noticeable debris etc. that cost about 1000 in parts alone and high lighted that it has no actual protection under it and my searched aren’t being fruitful at all. The don’t have the time or desire to get into the steel work of building my own right now, I may be willing to go the HDPE skinning it route but am hoping there are other options to protect the trucks vitals. Thank you,
Matt

Pretty sure there is a factory set odnplastic skids for stock fuel tanks. Asfir also has some that may work.

Look at the skid plates for the Power Wagon. Pretty sure the current models have plates of some sort under the tank. May need some modification, but a good place to start.

The Asfir ones are appealing. I have had no luck finding a factory plastic or better skid-nor has the local dealer parts room. From what I’ve read the power wagon ski days may utilize a crossmember that non power wagons are lacking. Power wagons aren’t common around here to look at unfortunately
