2016 Titan XD Pro4x build and travels

I thought I would start a thread here as I work on and build up my new to me, 2016 Nissan Titan XD. I just traded my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon for it a couple of months ago and I am VERY happy so far. After looking at several standard ARE / DCU type commercial campers I ended up finding an incredible deal on a 2024 Skinny Guy Camper Bare Bones in the next town over.

I figured I would post up a few quick pictures after moving over the camper, I was impressed at their system it only took us 30 minutes to move from one truck to the other.

I will fill in the details as I go, but previous owner already had installed, 2000 watt inverter, 140 amp hour lithium battery and 100 watt solar panel.

Just out of curiosity, why did you get rid of your Gladiator?
Towing the Aliner, the Gladiator was great, 14ish mpg, but when I came home and bought the travel trailer, it catches a lot more wind and my mpg dropped to 9 mpg. I figured a v8 will get that same mileage or probably better (3500 pound camper) I am expecting 12-14 mpg with the Titan but we will see.

I towed about 8-10k per year the last two years, so a 25% increase in mpg (9 mpg to 12 mpg) would be huge and any more is just a bonus.

The Gladiator is rated to tow 7700 and it will do it, but with coil springs in the rear, it just will not be happy about it. I like the trucks with leafs in rear, 3/4 ton (or Titan XD sorta 5/8) they really are built to tow.
