Currently located in San Diego, CA. Asking $60k $49k OBO. 111k miles currently, still my daily driver but minimal driving these days and no trips planned.
Not in a hurry to sell. Currently set up as a turnkey solution for a digital nomad / remote dirtbag application. Between the 300ah LiFePo4 battery, solar charging, 72 qt fridge, 13 gal water tank, and the upgraded mattress in the alu cabin - you can go as far off grid as you want and stay connected and comfortable.
Photos - hoping this cloud photo album works. Here's a glamour shot from White Sands, NM:
Please consider this post a work-in-progress. I've tried to capture all the details and relevant photos, but I know I'll miss some things. Please reach out and lmk if you want any photos or have questions and I'll update this post as I fine tune the details.
This is a beautiful rig that turns heads everywhere she goes. I'm an engineer with a professional background in nuclear power facility quality assurance and construction contracting. This truck has been my passion project for the past three years and this project has been the recipient of countless hours of my meticulous planning, designing, procurement, installation, and fabrication energies. My mission statement when building the truck was creating the infrastructure for 3 weeks off-grid working full time remote. I've only really gone on one adventure even close to that in those 3 years, and on my 2-3 weeks this vehicle did everything I asked to keep me comfortable and fully connected to my remote job while I explored the southwest. Most of my trips have been short weekenders and campouts with friends. I decked this truck out to be able to handle any off-roading that your average jeep rubicon can handle, and I've really only taken it off road a couple of times. There aren't even any real scratches on the underbody armor.
The hardest part about letting go of this truck will be the driving experience. With the re-gear to 5.29s & 12" exhaust this truck gives me that little thrill of excitement every time I get to open her up on the freeway. The handling is superb, from the total chaos UCA & king shocks all the way down to the sumo stop bump stops - this truck takes curves just as well as it handles crawling over a field of boulders. Wait until you get it out on some washboard dirt roads and really start floating. I've upgraded almost every creature comfort in the cab of the truck, from installing heated seats to a complete overhaul of the factory sound system. I've added extra cameras for improved visibility when off-roading and parking.
Ok, that's enough of my editorial.... I'll get on with the build.
