Although I built this Jeep to be a weekend warrior or to live/work out of full time, I barely ever used it for camping or off-roading. This Jeep has NOT been beat up on trails and I only went camping for maybe 8 nights total with it, if that.

Priorities in life changed and never really had the time to go on the adventures I wanted to (yet). This Jeep has been my daily driver since I purchased it in 2022, and I work from home, so I don’t drive it much on a day to day basis. Mostly highway miles.

ALL the below overlanding/camping parts were purchased NEW and professionally installed in August 2023. All these parts are in perfect condition and barely used. In total the overlanding/camping setup is over $6K in parts and another $2K+ in labor.

Kickass Control Hub

This thing is awesome. Check out the link below to see how it can charge all your devices.

Renogy 50 amp DC-DC battery charger with MPPT

This allows you to charge the 200 amp hour auxiliary battery from the Jeeps alternator, OR from solar panels. Pretty cool. And because it pulls in 50 amps while driving, you can charge up the 200 amp hour battery in just a couple hours max. See below for more info on the battery.

Renogy 12V 200Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery w/ Bluetooth

It has a 1000 watt inverter hooked up to it (see below), so you can charge both AC/DC devices. This battery alone has lasted me 3+ days charging everything from Starlink, tea kettle, phone, flashlights, laptop and more. If the battery gets low, you can simply turn on the Jeep, let it idle and it will charge up the battery quickly WITHOUT taking up much gas at all.

The Jeep at idle will consume at max 1 gallon per hour. Most likely 0.5 gallon per hour (or less). So at 0.5 gallon/hour at idle, it would take 2 gallons of gas to charge up the Renogy battery from 0 to 100%. Which is pretty great. For peace of mind I always kept 5 extra gallons of fuel in a jerry can, that conveniently sits in the rear bumper mount.

Ironman 4x4 powered water tank with pump (8 gallon) — comes with hose and shower head

Have the luxury of taking a shower during your overlanding/camping adventures. Or use to wash dishes, or your dog. Whatever you need, you’ve got high pressure water.

Smittybilt Overlander roof top tent (sleeps 2-3 adults)

Fishbone Offroad Interior Storage Rack
Raingler Overhead Ceiling Attic Net

Hothead Headliner. Front and rear side window panels. Helps with noise reduction and insulation. Had the back done as well, but needed to remove them when the roof rack got installed.

Tactic locking fuel door cover

I have the Carfax as of June 2024, and you will see in October 2023 a minor accident was reported. A stock Tacoma barely tapped into my front passenger tire just after making a turn, so we were both going maybe 5 miles an hour — there was absolutely no damage done to the Jeep or tire.
