Yes but oh boy I'd like to find out how that suspension and weight feel on backroads (for days on end 2).

I don't carry as much but tried 3 sets of coil springs on my current older primarily backroad use Toyota

The overweight Tacoma's have a lot of commonality with legendary boxer Eric Esch. Like Eric, they too are often underestimated. They don't get you there fast, you must drive them carefully, but the places they take you are amazing.
