2020 Winnebago Revel 4wd Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van
HIGHLIGHTS:
The Winnebago Revel features an array of enhancements aimed at adventurers seeking to explore the world without compromising luxury or capability. At the heart of the Revel’s design is its true four-wheel drive (4wd) Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, powered by the time tested and reliable turbo-diesel 6-cylinder engine. This van features the highest spec of Mercedes buildout, including items such as the MBUX 10-inch infotainment screen, LED lighting, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, and advanced GPS navigation. This foundational chassis ensures that the Revel has the comfort and capability to traverse rugged terrain. Winnebago has also focused on enhancing the Revel’s living conditions for extended travel seasons. The van features full 4-season insulation for gap-free coverage and a high-tech composite flooring to maintain optimal interior temperatures. A diesel turbine fired hydronic heating system adds to the comfort by providing multi-zone temperature control, ensuring that occupants can enjoy their adventures regardless of the external climate.
The Revel’s interior offers flexible and modern living spaces. The driver and passenger seats swivel to meet the lounge area with a folding table to seat 4. The lounge converts into a single bed to boost the standard sleep capacity to 3 – note: this feature was eliminated on later Revel models. Open the powered slider door to access the exterior swing down table. The galley has compression-latched drawers, cabinets and pantry space for secure storage, an ample sized fridge and freezer, generous sink with disposal, and an efficient inductive cooktop. The enclosed bath contains a swiveling toilet with easy to service cassette, a full shower, and also doubles as a gear closet with insertable shelves.
The rear of the van offers an enormous cargo and gear space, complete with the main power lift bed for 2 that retracts up to the roof when not in use, providing an enormous cargo storage space. Note, this year of the Revel features the greatest amount of cargo space. Lighted cargo space features removeable anchor points, overhead lighting, access to the outdoor shower and all controls for exterior LED lighting, all through easy access via the rear doors.
The van’s compact dimensions, featuring a length of 19 feet 6 inches, an exterior height of 10 feet, and an exterior width of 7 feet 5 inches, make it an agile companion for wilderness trails and urban excursions. It also easily fits in a standard parking space to provide incredible freedom to explore any environment – open country, downtown in the city, or anywhere in between.

I purchased this Revel new, and chose to take possession near the Winnebago headquarters. This allowed me to properly break in the Mercedes drivetrain during my leisurely travels back to Washington state. Typical practice for the RV industry is to hire drivers to drive units from the factory to the sales dealer, which is typically done as quick as possible, without regard to the drivetrain break in recommendations, which I wanted to avoid.
It has lived its life in a sheltered and gated space in Washington ever since. Washington state does not use salt on the roads, so it is still corrosion free. To be overly sure it stayed corrosion free, I coat the underside with FluidFilm every Fall (natural lanolin underbody preservative). This will give the undercarriage a dirtier look, but know that it is fully protected from the elements.
I’m a meticulous Mechanical Engineer, and have given the Revel the upmost care. All factory service is complete and documented. It has always seen Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles, or twice a year, whatever comes first. It has never been smoked in, never in any accidents, and has a clean title. Always kept clean, never off-roaded, and FluidFilmed the undercarriage every Fall. I don’t believe you will find a cleaner, better maintained, and built out Revel with the desired large garage, standard sleeping for 3, true 4wd, and enduring/dependable V6.
I extensively researched all of the upgrades, only selecting the top-rated components and systems to make it the most capable and comfortable van possible.
Asking $124,500 or best reasonable offer
