275/70R18 and 34x10.5R17

In these two tire sizes, real life diameter are very close in the BFG KO2S.
Considering how small the 34s run, I was surprised to see this.
(Buddy at a tire shop had one in stock and we compared it next to my worn 34x10.5R17s)
There isn't much or any pure winter tires in the oddball size I wish to run and want to keep a skinny ish tire with same OD as my summers. And am looking for the 33" OD size

Also a shout out to @jadmt for the insane amount of tires he has run and the information and pictures he has made available to others.
Thanks to his many photos I've seen how many tires of different listed sizes (and published diameters) run so different in real life.

Is the 275/70 size easy to come by?

The 285/70 is silly priced and not a popular size

Goodyear lists their 275/70R18 Duratrac as being 33.20 x 11.00

They also show the 295/65R18 as being 33.10 x 11.80

The 275/70/18 is a very popular size as it is the factory size for each of the big three 3/4 and 1-ton trucks so just about every tire mfg offers it. The 285/70/18 is just a little bigger but pretty limited selection.

I've been looking at the Kenda Kleever R/T in the 275/70 R18. They are about 300bucks less than the BFG and they get really good reviews. The sidewall is pretty sweet too. I think these are what will be going on my Excursion.

However this size has a limited selection and the tire price is much much more
