anyone know how or where I can look to buy the parts for this lift? I know ram truck parts don't interchange but I def want to lift the van a bit for bigger tires and more ground clearance for my kayak'n and mtb adventures, I already have a locker in the rear....

any and all help will be greatly appreciated:coffeedrink:

the dodge vans are tough...last I heard they were uni-body and didnt lend very well to lifts (no actual frame)..

have you looked into any baja style kits that might be out there? lift spindals or maybe fender trimming and flairs for larger tires?

well lots of good 4x4's are uni-body (jeep cherokee) so I can see not bein able to do a body lift but a suspension lift should be easier than this...

I have not seen any kind of lift at all for this and lots for the 2wd ram trucks, I think I'll have to make a trip to the u-pull it yard and see how far or close the ram truck front suspension is to my van...
I would think it was easier what with all the rediculous cars with 30" rims I see all jacked up in the air:confused:

Im not implying its inferior by ANY means...but the trucks are all frame based and the liftkits for them wont work..

maybe something custom made?

If your van's front suspension is IFS, look at spindle lift kits. The spindles I have that used to be in my unibody GMC van (I converted to 4x4 with Dana 60 axle) gave my van 4.5 inches lift. It's from Fabtech and it's for a truck but can be fit for a van; it's doable. It will require you to make significant adjustment to the caster; it's not hard to do it yourself. The other thing I had to do was to re-ream one hole of the spindles in order to fit the tie rod ends; you may not have to do it depending on the size of your tie rods.

Research them, and if you find that the Dodge and GM spindles somewhat match, I have a set of them lift spindles here sitting under my eaves.

Well as much as i love custom and would dig your chevy lift spindles it seems that the dodge van lift is gonna be scrubbed for 2 reasons...1. I want this and its parts to be relatively easy should anything break while i'm travelin and custom just won't do that and 2. I plan to later down the road convert to 4x4 and so it has been decided that the dodge is going up for sale and a ford E350 will be found.....live and learn and adapt to overcome!
