Long story short I converted my 2005 Fuso FG to veggie a couple of years ago. FYI it's been running great and love it. I start and stop it on diesel and use engine coolant to heat the veggie, when it comes up to temperature it switches over. I had it switching in about 5 to 6 miles after start however I just decided to pull the EGR and it's cooler, by dumb luck I was tapping into the coolant after it went through the EGR which made it a lot hotter and switch fast. Now it takes a long time to switch so I'm looking for a hotter coolant source. I'm wondering if the coolant leaving the right side of the engine heading towards the radiator would be hotter than the coolant leaving the block on the left side that used to go through the EGR. Anyone out there have ideas? Thanks.
