There is a pretty nice cooler on sale at Costco right now. Its yet another YETI clone, but looks really well made, and it's a fraction of the price of anything I've seen elsewhere (REI, Bass Pro, etc...). And if you take care of it and make sure it doesn't get stolen, you have it for the rest of your life. No more $ spent on flimsy coolers or spoiled food. Sound economics for the serious cooler user, I'd say.

Agreed. I saw it and it should outlive me. beats the hell out of anything else I used in Baja when I used to go. I make my own 35# blocks of ice in a small household freezer in the garage.

I gave it a once over the other day at Costco. It looks very well built. I would say an excellent product for $140 compared to a yeti.

Great cooler for drinks to complement your fridge for food, if you have the space.
