LOL! All I remember is that the instructions and most specificially, the wiring diagram for the tail lights were nothing short of HORRIBLE! Had to stare at them and the wiring on my 80 for quite some time before it made sense and I ain't stoopid about electrical wiring either. No professional by any means, but know how to do it. Good luck. Set up is very nice!

So, I really dig this setup, but man are these rigs gulping the fuel when fully loaded?

Don't get me wrong - I've been on a few excursions recently that reinforced how low on the totem-pole fuel economy is when compared to reliability, durability, storage and comfort, but I wonder about such things.

Also is the rig approaching or exceeding GVWR when you've got your tire carriers, load area, roof rack, and passenger area's fully loaded?

Thanks for any info you can pass on.

Dont get me started...
All of Kaymars instructions are pretty much the worst crap i have ever seen or read, especially when you look at how much it costs for their products!
The instructions for the lights are retarded. There wasn't even a wiring diagram to tell you which color wires do what, nice.

Everywhere on there website it says the new 60 series products have the gas strut on the swing aways... nope.
It doesnt even mention those little L shaped pieces that are supposed to hold the swing aways open.
Kaymar sent the wrong side catch for the jerry cans, mines mounted upside down... still works but i was not waiting on one from Australia!

all for nearly 3 grand.

I could go on and on.

The instructions are terrible. They have separate instructions for the bumper installation and the swing out installation. Make sure to read the swing out ones first because I spent a few hours installing the bumper only to find out I had to remove the damn thing to bolt on the latches for the swing outs. Ugh....I was pissed and it didn't get it done for another week. On the other hand the bumper itself is top notch.

All Done. That took way longer than it should have, but i had to make sure everything was weatherproofed, cleanly wired, loomed, and replace rotting bolts underneath with some SS ones... Sometimes i dont know how many more of these projects i have left in me! Im too much of a perfectionist to own a 30 year old vehicle.
