Expedition Leader
Thanks to everyone that came along!
We had a good group of 9 rigs, and all were excellent drivers. We made very good time thru the rock section with minimal spotting and only one minor high center. The hill climbs were there usual fun challenge, and with great weather, offered a nice uphill view of the stunning blue sky's. It was a weeeeeeee bit dusty this year without a doubt. I decided to lead from the back to let the open top rigs be at the head of the line so they didn't have to eat dust.
The BBQ was great! We ended up with enough extra food to feed the barkeeper and some of the other patrons of the historic Cleator Bar. The Maionese was a real hit - the whole tub disappeared. All the other side dishes were great too! There was quite a crowd there, and by dark there were a couple guitars clankin' on the front porch. All in all, it was a good time.
