80 cargo barriers?

This topic has come and gone but can imagine the need still exists. Reading about Car-Car's accident has me researching this anew. It seems a ridged, ceiling to floor unit would be the most useful and safest. Not only could it separate gear safely, you could mount a first aid kit and fire extinguisher in plain sight.

Saw this with no real information about it. Was wondering if you folks knew of anything like this for sale in the USA?

While it's not floor to ceiling. the Mont Blanc barrier I have in my Lexus RX350 does a great job as a dog barrier.

It's a three piece metal screen, with a main center panel and two adjustable wings. The best part of the design is that it mounts to the rear seat headrests with a tension hook system. No compression mount to windows or headliner, and no drilling. I can't pull the seatbacks forward with this in place, but that's a small compromise. Works perfectly to keep my Border Collie in the back end when we take this car.

I got it on eBay, and had it delivered to friends in Europe from a seller who wouldn't ship to the US. The Mont Blanc company is a Swedish-based rack maker.

Milford makes one that is pretty spendy---last I checked there were a couple for sale in the mud classifieds...

I snagged one! I got a killer deal or I wouldn't of pulled the trigger. I think it was like $300 shipped, obviously used but in great condition.
They are spendy but well constructed, I think a local fabricator could make one with little money spent.

Raingler makes one for the 80 series. http://raingler.com/merch88Toyota.htm
They're well made, and compared to the other options $185 doesn't seem to bad. I use one from my old Cherokee that I bought for $50 off of ebay. It's a little small, but it's better than nothing.

While not a ridged structure as I intended, this is a compelling alternative. Light weight, strong, easily moved... hmmmm.

Anyone have first hand experience with these day to day? How do they hold up?

heard good things about that raingler net, while its not made out of metal it has the bonus of not making a racket when offroad

Those look like great solutions, but I need a one piece roof to floor solution. Once again, the curse of the great white north - stupid high shipping costs - is going to prevent me from doing anything until I am back in america. The 'premium' of living here is insane. Had I been able to get thing shipped for more reasonable rate, I would already have a bumper, winch, sliders and full suspension. Geez... Now I have a set of 1" spacers and an ExPo sticker on the way...
Anyone want to start up a Schattenjager Relocation Fund to speed this along?!?!
Please...

I used a Raingler in my old 4Runner....worked great, and you could take it down easily if you needed to fold the seats down and load items into the rig.

I'm the builder of the Speski OffRoad barriers. I don't hang out here much but spotted the thread this morning. The link already posted to MUD had all the info and many pictures. But if anyone has any specific questions I'm happy to answer them here too.
