80 series interior water leak!!!

Thankfully, Colorado has finally gotten some rain - and lots of it. Yesterday I was driving on the interstate and noticed water in the headliner - A pillar trim junction. Thought that maybe the windshield gasket was leaking, even though it was replaced new a year ago, and the the wind was driving it inside. Dried it out last night and did not go anywhere today, but had the leak return after being parked outside all day. Now thinking it might be the sunroof. Anyone have experience with this?

haven't had mine leak, but cleaned the drains a couple years ago. easy to find if they're plugged. open sunroof, pour a little bit of water in the channel by the drains and see if it clears. they will leak out under the rockers.

Mine leaks when I go to an automatic carwash, haven't noticed any leakage in rain yet. I'm going to go out and check right now.

Very common place for leaks. You can pull the grab handles, and move the headliner out of the way to see the drain hoses. They can be kinked or loose. With the sunroof open, you can pour some water into the drains, and see if you get water dripping under the vehicle. If you do, then it's going to be a kink or debris slowing the flow of water. You can use zip ties, wire, etc to try and clear them out.

I used a piece of weed eater line to clean mine. I found that I had mud clogging up the bottom end and water got trapped in the line. No leaks in 6 months and beforehand, my floor stayed wet.

ETA- another possibility is the sunroof. When you close it, start to retract it and then reclose. It seems to seal better from the retracted position than from "up". I saw this posted on MUD and found it was the same with mine.
