So I put the 455 on hold for right now as I just found an older 3/4 ton suburban with barn doors that might be coming home. Plus I got an 81 3/4 ton pickup to get running decent for my son.
The 5.7 in the 89 is acting up alittle ever since I put in the o2 sensor. Does anyone out here know if I need to put in a heated sensor if I have no cat or is the stock one ok? I seem to have a decrease in MPG and some water out the tailpipe.
Also anyone out there changed the one piece rear main? How much hassle was it? I got a full set of cast aluminum as it seems to seal better for me.
