Apparently the current record is 14 days set in 1983.

Wow - That is crazy in such a little car. Not even 4x4 / AWD.

The new Fiat "Twin Air" engine is impressive - here is a spec sheet on it:

Variable valve lift and curve via hydraulic control - no throttle body at all.
