A random winter sunset

As I wait on my replacement 40d batteries, I'm using a friends Nikon 200.
I missed a sunset a couple months ago that was absolutely amazing.....so I watch the day's end more closely now. Today was a good sunset. I enjoyed the hour watching it drop

The first few shots you could have told me it was a sunset on a white sand beach and I would have believed you

Snowy sunset pics are cool. I grabbed this with an old crappy P&S while we were getting Christmas trees in 07

I like the Nikon actually. I like the On / Off trigger, much easier.
I do think I like the Canon better, but I'm pissed at it right now because my battery just crapped out

Thanks for the comments on the UPO site. It turned out to be WAY more work than I had anticipated. Always is
