AC Power Stabilizer

Here in a campground in Mexico there are electrical hookups. We have a Renogy inverter/charger with an automatic transfer switch. It allows voltages from 90-130 volts for the switch to allow AC to come from shore power, else the inverter is used. Well the incoming voltage is 132 volts so no incoming AC happens. If a load is put on the line before our truck and the voltage drops below 130 we then get incoming AC. So, has anyone worked this out and come up with a recommendation for a 110v and 220v voltage stabilizer for 2000+ watts? We also have a Victron Isolation Transformer before the inverter/charger so we can get 220v and convert to 110v before the Renogy.

There are lots of toroidal transformer based units. These typically use a servo motor to adjust the voltage. Used to be popular with expats in the Gulf. Won't handle spikes, but they are excellent for adjusting for voltage that is long term too high or too low. Most will also serve as step up/down transformers - you just have to use the correct tap, or outlet.

I used to use a 3 Kw unit with a big PA.

For our trip south I installed a Victron 2kw Isolation Transformer. Problem is it doesn't do anything to reduce over voltage. Looking at the specs of the one you posted it lists 75v-130v. Wonder if it would take over 130v? I know our Renogy inverter/charger with the internal transfer switch seems to be very accurate and not allow anything passed its 130v limit.

Any thoughts on something like this?

Amazon Voltage Regulator

Would only handle over voltage, which would likely only be a few volts it should be able to dissipate the heat. I wouldn't install it inside. It is small and since I already have a step up/down transformer, if I don't need to carry a second on it would be great.
