Adblue / DEF / Arla32 powder or concentrate?

Hola todos!

We, Dutch family with kids 3 and 5, just arrived in Mexico with our Hilux 2019 diesel and plan to travel South in an unknown pace. See where life takes us.
Being a 2019 euro diesel, we expect some fuel issues along the way, but let's cross that bridge when we get there rather then worry about it today

Bit of a practical question as we're a family of 4 in a small hilux and RTT, so storage space (or any space for that matter) is a bit short... So far the DEF or Adblue has not been an issue as we've stayed in Europe, Mexico is also not an issue, but further South it might be a little more challenging. For that reason we carry a fair bit of the stuff with us, which takes up space...

As it's mostly water, does anyone know if it's available somewhere as a powder or concentrate which you can dillute yourself using demineralized water?

I am not saying I can recommend this, but if you get in a pinch, check your truck manufactures specifications for what the acceptable concentration of DEF to water is. Usually the DEF that is sold and put into service has a much higher concentration of urea, which is why it crystalizes. You might be able to dilute the DEF with some demineralized water. Again, proceed at your own risk.
