BC Customs Off-Road Trailer. This trailer was built for the USAF Special Missions Units and not available to the public; I purchased through a government auction a while back with the intentions of adding it to my overland collection but now have too many projects.
My original plan was to convert this trailer to a full overland setup with RTT, storage boxes, water, fuel, solar, and ability to carry a dirt bike or two under the RTT setup but another great option would be to configure to bolt or drop on a pick-up style overland camper step such as Alu-Cab, ATX, etc.
The center boxes in the trailer are removable or keep them on for storage as they have tops and storage dividers inside that were designed to carry Scepter J-cans and ammo cans. My plan was to remove the boxes and install water and fuel tank to keep the center of gravity low and then put an upright and extendable hard RTT rack so I can raise and lower the tent to put dirtbikes or UTV under it.
The trailer is in excellent condition and there are only two (2) built; unfortunately I was unable to get the second. The black steel wheels in the pictures were installed as the 17” 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern is far more common and ease of use such as Toyota, Chevy, Jeep, etc.; there is a spare black steel wheel not pictured. The Walker Evans tan race wheels in Ford bolt pattern are available with the trailer, 17” with 35” BFGs in Ford bolt-pattern with spacer adapters from the Chevy 6 x 5.5 hub setup. Hubs are e-brake ready if you want to install electric brakes.
The Walker Evans wheels need some of the bead lock bolts replaced; wheels come with brand new bead lock rings and bolt hardware kit. I installed a Curt hitch as a temp solution (Pintle-ring included) with the intention of installing a Lock-N-Roll articulating hitch in the future.
Independent suspension and dual front leveling jacks on the front; wheel track width can change with spacer setup and plenty of room for full-size or mid-size type tow vehicles. The rear square frame tubes are configured to allow for two (2) receivers for hitch carriers, spare wheel carriers, or custom applications. The front tongue support has two (2) vertically mounted receiver style mounts for unlimited custom options like cooking swing out, spare wheels, J-Can mounts, propane mounts, etc.
Knowing what I have seen on this site for custom ideas and designs, this trailer is the perfect platform for a one-of-a-kind overland trailer build.

Trailer has the government auction MSO release so needs to be registered but will pass no issues if you do the titling with just the current trailer harness as most states are super easy to register trailers. I installed a magnetic trailer light kit to make it legal until I do the hardwire kit so its legal to tow once registered; the frame tubes are hollow and have wiring holes to easily plumb for wiring etc.
