Hello All!

First time thread over here, long time lurker. Started outfitting my current Tacoma for travel and thought I would share some photos of its evolution. Toyotas are all I have ever owned and it all started with a Toyota Land Cruiser that took me all over the country. That truck sprung life long friends and memories that I could never have imagined. So I continue the Toyota Travelers dream with my current one a 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport. It is being built for long distance travel and mild trails since it is far to long for anything very technical trail wise. Ive only owned the current one a few months but have already started the build and traveled to 15 states. Ill try to keep it interesting...

Love the pics,what rack do you have over the softtopper to support the Rtt?? Very curious as I have a soft topper and am looking at an rtt but was going to go with a trailer. However if I can bypass that for now and just get the tent I definetly will

I actually don't have a rack. I TIG welded some supports out of aluminum underneath the soft top. Only weighs a couple of lbs. I originally bought an ARB aluminum series full rack but turned out not liking the look of it on the rig. I like the Tacoma and I like the Rack but I don't like the rack on the Tacoma. The Tacoma just looked to "sleek" to have a sorta bulky looking rack up there. Plus if I load the cab and truck bed all the way up that I have to put stuff on the roof I have way too much crap with me.

Looking forward to seeing more! What rear bumper is that? I'd be interested in seeing some more of the details on your truck.
