Air Mattress in Roof Top Tent

Who uses an air mattress in their RTT? I just picked up THIS ONE from Costco for $39. Seems like a good deal considering they go for $120 on Amazon for the new model. I have an Iron Man Rtt that is exactly 55" wide so this should fit perfect and leave a little room at our feet for shoes and clothes. What I was thinking is I can deflate this and have plenty of room for sleeping bags and pillows when I close up the tent and the air mattress is probably quite a bit lighter than the foam pad also I shouldn't have to worry about condensation build up below.

Anyone use this set up? I imagine it is cold in the lower temps. Is it a hassle setting up? Any thoughts, good or bad idea?

I use my ridge rest air mattress from my backpack equipment over a blanket that has a water proof coating on one side. I place the blanket over my RTT mattress with the coating down and the air mattress on top. I haven't noticed any moisture under the RTT mattress like people report happens. I read about using an air mattress in this manner in a thread before I got mine. Makes it about as comfortable as anywhere I sleep. As for the condensation under the mattress it seems to work in my climate.

We tried using one but it squeaks all the time. We bought a 1 1/2" foam matress topper at walmart to put over the RTT matress. It makes it much more comfortable.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm going to mount my tent this weekend and I'll see how everything works out. I'll let you know what I find.
