Tanami Jerry Can Transfer Pumps

Hi all

Noted the post on the Tanami Pumps

Thanks for the kind words

In relation to one comment about over pressurizing the Jerry Can

We have been very mindful of this point and have fitted a pressure relief valve set at 5 PSI and restricted at no more than 18 PSI

Jerry Cans are tested and the steel cans can tolerate above 34 + PSI, this is the recommended maximum pressure with the plastics around the same to meet the Australian Standards

Any questions please do not hesitate to PM me

I cannot see the justification of complexity. The super siphon is just such a great tool from my experience.

Where do you currently store your fuel cans?

I don't keep cans on a roof rack, and having had two back surgeries, I'm not interested in a third. Looks like a great addition to my tool box.
But I guess if you're a young buck, it might seem like a waste.....

Perhaps this would be an option for you. This is/was an Amsoil gear lube pump. The only pain was locating the black gas cap in the photo. I finally got a hold of one from Ace Hardware. The tube is a smaller diameter but the length of time pumping is not unreasonable.

I doubt I'd use it. My arm might get tired, you know. :sombrero:

The air powered version is great.
