I'm guessing this is the right forum for this question.
I have a Walther Lever action CO2 air rifle that is driving me nuts!
It uses dual CO2 canisters and an 8 shot magazine. The problem I'm having is that it will fire off the first shot without fail and then may or may not fire subsequent shots. If I manually open the magazine holder and jostle the mag, it sometimes gets the next shot off, but then it's back to the same pattern.
I've spoken to the tech folks from the seller and the best they could tell me was to be sure the pellets are snugly pushed in to the magazine. They are.
I've tried lead and lead free pellets in every imaginable configuration and nothing seems to make a difference.
The gun worked fine for a while after I got it a couple of years back and I can't think of a single event that could have caused this problem. It's stored indoors in a clean and dry location. The rifle has not had much use but now that my 10 year old just got his first air rifle for his birthday, I want to use mine more.
Any thoughts before I ship this off to CA for inspection/repair?
