Alaska maps for iPad

I'm making a 2 week trip in AK and wonder if anyone could recommend a mapping platform for iOS. I do not currently have any mapping software, so I'm open to suggestions. I've always just used the basic cellular based mapping software, but I'm sure I'll need to download maps to my iPad for when we have no coverage.

I use PDF-Maps for my iPad. It's free, and a lot of the maps it uses are free. I did a search for Alaska, and a lot showed up. They work offline since they're downloaded to your device.
